Then, it keeps constantly rising until 2006, going from 26.2 years in 1971 to 27.8 years in 1976, to 29.6 years in 1981, to 31.6 years in 1986, to 33.5 years in 1991, to 35.3 years in 1996, to 37.6 years in 2001 and then finally to 39.5 years in 2006.
