In 2011, Acton Vale (Ville) had a population of 7,664, representing a percentage change of 1.1% from 2006. This compares to the national average growth of 5.9%.

Land area is 90.98 square kilometres with a population density of 84.2 persons per square kilometre. This compares to the provincial land area of 1,356,547.02 square kilometres with a population density of 5.8 persons per square kilometre.
