In comparison, the provincial / territorial percentages were 7.7% for English only, 78.1% for French only and 12.3% for only non-official languages.

In 2011, 9.6% of the population spoke only English most often at home, 86.0% spoke only French and 1.7% spoke only a non-official language. In comparison, the provincial / territorial percentages were 9.8% for only English, 80.0% for only French and 7.1% for only a non-official language.

Lorraine, V – Non-official languages
