In 2011, Brooks (City) had a population of 13,676, representing a percentage change of 9.3% from 2006. This compares to the national average growth of 5.9%.

Land area is 18.19 square kilometres with a population density of 751.9 persons per square kilometre. This compares to the provincial land area of 640,081.87 square kilometres with a population density of 5.7 persons per square kilometre.
