In 2011, Comox Valley B (Lazo North) (Regional district electoral area) had a population of 6,939, representing a percentage change of -0.4% from 2006. This compares to the national average growth of 5.9%.

Land area is 56.72 square kilometres with a population density of 122.3 persons per square kilometre. This compares to the provincial land area of 922,509.29 square kilometres with a population density of 4.8 persons per square kilometre.

In 2011, Comox Valley B (Lazo North) (Regional district electoral area) had 2,912 private dwellings occupied by usual residents.
