In 2011, Chambly (Ville) had a population of 25,571, representing a percentage change of 13.1% from 2006. This compares to the national average growth of 5.9%.

Land area is 25.11 square kilometres with a population density of 1,018.2 persons per square kilometre. This compares to the provincial land area of 1,356,547.02 square kilometres with a population density of 5.8 persons per square kilometre.
