In 2011, Saint-Zotique (Municipalité) had a population of 6,773, representing a percentage change of 29.0% from 2006. This compares to the national average growth of 5.9%.

Land area is 25.19 square kilometres with a population density of 268.8 persons per square kilometre. This compares to the provincial land area of 1,356,547.02 square kilometres with a population density of 5.8 persons per square kilometre.
