  • In 2016, 13,530 children aged 0 to 14 and 13,690 persons aged 65 and over were enumerated in Cochrane, representing respectively 17.0% and 17.2% of the total population.
  • The working age population (15 to 64) represented 65.8% of the total population. In comparison, for Canada the proportions of children, of seniors and in age of working were 16.6%, 16.9% and 66.5% in 2016.
