Data quality- In 2016, 13.6% of adults aged 15 and over living in private dwellings lived alone, 48.7% lived in a couple and 10.6% lived as a lone parent.

Marital status, Region 1, 2016
In Region 1, 49.5% of the total population aged 15 and over were either married (27.0%) or living with a common-law partner (22.5%).
The remaining 50.6% were not married and not living with a common-law partner, including those who were single (never-married), separated, divorced or widowed.
