  • In 2016, 610 children aged 0 to 14 and 320 persons aged 65 and over were enumerated in Region 4, representing respectively 19.3% and 10.1% of the total population.
  • The working age population (15 to 64) represented 70.6% of the total population. In comparison, for Canada the proportions of children, of seniors and in age of working were 16.6%, 16.9% and 66.5% in 2016.
