  • In 2016, 83.1% of people aged 25 to 64 in Grand Falls-Windsor had a high school diploma or equivalency certificate, compared with 86.3% in Canada.
  • In Grand Falls-Windsor, 16.6% of people aged 25 to 64 had a bachelor’s degree or higher in 2016, while 32.1% had a college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma as their highest level of education, and 13.7% had an apprenticeship or trades certificate or diploma as their highest.
  • In Grand Falls-Windsor, 6.8% of women aged 25 to 64 with a bachelor’s degree or higher studied STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), compared with 16.2% of men. On the other hand, 93.8% of these women studied BHASE (non-STEM) fields of study such as business, humanities, health, arts, social sciences, education, etc., compared with 83.8% of men.
