  • In 2016, 7,025 children aged 0 to 14 and 12,165 persons aged 65 and over were enumerated in Joliette, representing respectively 14.2% and 24.6% of the total population.
  • The working age population (15 to 64) represented 61.2% of the total population. In comparison, for Canada the proportions of children, of seniors and in age of working were 16.6%, 16.9% and 66.5% in 2016.
