  • In 2016, 74.1% of people aged 25 to 64 in Hawkesbury had a high school diploma or equivalency certificate, compared with 86.3% in Canada.
  • In Hawkesbury, 7.8% of people aged 25 to 64 had a bachelor’s degree or higher in 2016, while 23.2% had a college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma as their highest level of education, and 11.7% had an apprenticeship or trades certificate or diploma as their highest.
  • In Hawkesbury, 10.2% of women aged 25 to 64 with a bachelor’s degree or higher studied STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), compared with 31.8% of men. On the other hand, 89.8% of these women studied BHASE (non-STEM) fields of study such as business, humanities, health, arts, social sciences, education, etc., compared with 68.2% of men.
