  • In 2016, 25,585 children aged 0 to 14 and 30,155 persons aged 65 and over were enumerated in Greater Sudbury, representing respectively 15.5% and 18.3% of the total population.
  • The working age population (15 to 64) represented 66.2% of the total population. In comparison, for Canada the proportions of children, of seniors and in age of working were 16.6%, 16.9% and 66.5% in 2016.
