In 2016, 72.9% of people aged 25 to 64 in Amherst had a high school diploma or equivalency certificate, compared with 86.3% in Canada.
In Amherst, 7.8% of people aged 25 to 64 had a bachelor’s degree or higher in 2016, while 13.9% had a college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma as their highest level of education, and 27.1% had an apprenticeship or trades certificate or diploma as their highest.
