Population, 2016 and 2011 censuses

• In 2016, the enumerated population of Pessamit (Indian reserve) was 2,256, which represents a change of -6.8% from 2011. This compares to the provincial average of 3.3% and the national average of 5.0%.
• The land area of Pessamit (Indian reserve) is 255.58 square kilometres and the population density was 8.8 people per square kilometre.
• In 2016, there were 780 private dwellings occupied in Pessamit (Indian reserve), which represent a change of 4.1% from 2011.
