Population, 2016 and 2011 censuses

• In 2016, the enumerated population of Leeds and the Thousand Islands (Township) was 9,465, which represents a change of 2.0% from 2011. This compares to the provincial average of 4.6% and the national average of 5.0%.
• The land area of Leeds and the Thousand Islands (Township) is 612.45 square kilometres and the population density was 15.5 people per square kilometre.
• In 2016, there were 3,861 private dwellings occupied in Leeds and the Thousand Islands (Township), which represent a change of 4.4% from 2011.
