Note:

Urban areas are defined using population and population density data from the current census and are delineated using the dissemination block. The previous census counts provided in this table are the aggregation of the previous census population counts for the dissemination blocks that constitute the 2006 urban area.

One of the 2006 urban areas, Attawapiskat 91A, is an area that has been identified as being an incompletely enumerated Indian reserve. Data for 2006 are not available for the incompletely enumerated reserves and settlements, and are not included in tabulations. Because of the missing data, users are cautioned that for the affected geographic area, comparisons (e.g., percentage change) between 2001 and 2006 are not exact.
