Genealogy corner

For the very first time, everyone filling in the 2006 Census was asked a very important question: do you agree to have your census information made available to the public in 92 years, in other words in the year 2098.

This information serves future generations by providing them with historical and genealogical data that will allow them to better understand their national, regional and family history. Public support and participation in the 2006 Census is what makes this passing of information from generation to generation possible.
