Major characteristics

Beginning with the population and dwelling counts, these tables will be available for each of the eight major releases. Available on each official day of release they will present information highlights by topic via key indicators for various levels of geography. For example, these will include percent distributions and percentage change from 2001. The tables allow users to perform simple rank and sort functions.

What's new?

  • Expansion from 2001 based on ongoing consultation and research (i.e., new indicators, additional geographies, etc.).
  • Available to download into a comma-separated or TAB-delimited ASCII format options.
  • Graphing capabilities for selected geographies and tables.

Geography

Proposed levels of geography:

Canada, province and territory, census metropolitan area/census agglomeration (CMA/CA), and their zones of influence (where applicable), census division (CD) and census subdivision (CSD).

  • Print-friendly format.
