Census – Road network files

The 2011 Census Road Network file is a digital representation of Canada's national road network, containing information such as street names, types, directions, ranks and address ranges. Also included are the unique identifier, name and type for each side of a street arc (where applicable) for the following geographic levels: provinces and territories, census subdivisions, census metropolitan areas and census agglomerations. Streets are ranked according to five levels of detail, suitable for mapping at small to medium scales.
