Boundary Files, Reference Guide
The 2006 Boundary Files are a series of products that depict boundaries of standard geographic units. In this reference guide, the term 'standard geographic units' is used to refer to the geography levels defined in the Standard Geographical Classification Volume I and geography levels established primarily for the purpose of collecting and disseminating census data. A diagram illustrating the hierarchy of standard geography levels is included in Appendix B of this guide.
