• In 2016, the enumerated population of Belleville census metropolitan area (CMA) was 103,472, which represents a change of 1.8% from 2011. This compares to the provincial average of 4.6% and the national average of 5.0%.
• The land area of Belleville is 1,336.52 square kilometres and the population density was 77.4 people per square kilometre.
• In 2016, there were 43,002 private dwellings occupied in Belleville, which represent a change of 2.9% from 2011.
