• In 2016, the enumerated population of Kitchener - Cambridge - Waterloo census metropolitan area (CMA) was 523,894, which represents a change of 5.5% from 2011. This compares to the provincial average of 4.6% and the national average of 5.0%.
• The land area of Kitchener - Cambridge - Waterloo is 1,091.16 square kilometres and the population density was 480.1 people per square kilometre.
• In 2016, there were 200,495 private dwellings occupied in Kitchener - Cambridge - Waterloo, which represent a change of 6.4% from 2011.
