• In 2016, the enumerated population of Guelph census metropolitan area (CMA) was 151,984, which represents a change of 7.7% from 2011. This compares to the provincial average of 4.6% and the national average of 5.0%.
• The land area of Guelph is 593.51 square kilometres and the population density was 256.1 people per square kilometre.
• In 2016, there were 59,280 private dwellings occupied in Guelph, which represent a change of 8.0% from 2011.
