• In 2016, the enumerated population of Sarnia census agglomeration (CA) was 96,151, which represents a change of -1.0% from 2011. This compares to the provincial average of 4.6% and the national average of 5.0%.
• The land area of Sarnia is 1,118.65 square kilometres and the population density was 86.0 people per square kilometre.
• In 2016, there were 41,989 private dwellings occupied in Sarnia, which represent a change of 2.1% from 2011.
