• In 2016, the enumerated population of Blackfalds (Town) was 9,328, which represents a change of 48.1% from 2011. This compares to the provincial average of 11.6% and the national average of 5.0%.
• The land area of Blackfalds (Town) is 16.44 square kilometres and the population density was 567.3 people per square kilometre.
• In 2016, there were 3,302 private dwellings occupied in Blackfalds (Town), which represent a change of 46.8% from 2011.
