• In 2016, the enumerated population of Slave Lake (Town) was 6,651, which represents a change of -1.9% from 2011. This compares to the provincial average of 11.6% and the national average of 5.0%.
• The land area of Slave Lake (Town) is 14.44 square kilometres and the population density was 460.5 people per square kilometre.
• In 2016, there were 2,329 private dwellings occupied in Slave Lake (Town), which represent a change of 1.5% from 2011.
