Population, 2016 and 2011 censuses

• In 2016, the enumerated population of Strathcona D (Oyster Bay - Buttle Lake) (Regional district electoral area) was 4,396, which represents a change of 8.9% from 2011. This compares to the provincial average of 5.6% and the national average of 5.0%.
• The land area of Strathcona D (Oyster Bay - Buttle Lake) (Regional district electoral area) is 1,590.23 square kilometres and the population density was 2.8 people per square kilometre.
• In 2016, there were 1,876 private dwellings occupied in Strathcona D (Oyster Bay - Buttle Lake) (Regional district electoral area), which represent a change of 10.8% from 2011.
