Relationship between population growth and aging for various regions in Canada

This interactive chart shows the relationship between percentage of the population aged 65 years and older and the percentage change in the population (2011 to 2016). Data views are available for various geographic levels including Canada, provinces and territories, census metropolitan areas (CMAs) and several regional census metropolitan area (CMA)/census agglomeration (CA) groupings. Selected census subdivisions (CSDs) can also be added to the chart for comparison purposes.
