Religion: In 2021, the top religious group was Catholic, with about 588,145 persons representing 12.0% of the total population. The second group was Christian, n.o.s., with about 434,925 persons representing 8.8% of the total population. The population who declared no religion and secular perspectives numbered 2,559,250 persons, representing 52.1% of the total population.
