Census subdivisions are outlined in a black line, and their name, type, census division code and census subdivision code are labelled on the map with black text. Refer to the data table below for more information.
Note that on this map, the census subdivision unique identifier is shown as a five-digit unique identifier, not seven digits, due to space limitations on the map. The first two digits of the census subdivision unique identifier, representing the province/territory code, do not appear on the map. The remaining five digits represent the census division and census subdivision.
Census metropolitan areas and census agglomerations are outlined in a thick dark grey line, and the corresponding code is labelled on the map with bold grey text. Refer to the data table below for more information.
