To view tables providing data on place of work, including commuting distance and workplace location, select form the following geographic areas. Data are available for various levels of geography and include 2001 counts, percentage distribution and percentage change (1996-2001).

Employed Labour Force by Place of Work Status, with Commuting Distance to Work

• Canada, Provinces and Territories  
  
  
• Census Metropolitan Areas (CMAs) and Census Agglomerations (CAs)  
       (e.g. Corner Brook, Montréal, Toronto, Winnipeg, Regina, Victoria)
  
  
• Census Subdivisions (CSDs) (Municipalities)  
       (e.g. Truro, Grand Manan, Gaspé, Battleford, Dawson, Resolute)

Employed Labour Force by Place of Work and Place of Residence

• Canada, Provinces and Territories  
  
  
• Census Metropolitan Areas (CMAs) and Census Agglomerations (CAs)  
       (e.g. Corner Brook, Montréal, Toronto, Winnipeg, Regina, Victoria)
  
  
• Census Subdivisions (CSDs) (Municipalities)

Some tables present data at more than one geographic level; for example, it is possible to view census metropolitan area (CMA) and census agglomeration (CA) data by individual province or territory, or nationally. See the definitions of geographic terms.
