2001 Census Results Teacher's Kit
This kit provides teachers with innovative classroom materials
dealing with the results of the 2001 Census. Activities are available
for elementary, intermediate and high schools, are classroom-ready and
have been classroom-tested by professional educators. Minimal preparation
time is required.
Activities are grouped according to subject using the terminology used
in the census. For example, Activities 1 to 3 deal with Population Counts,
the first variable released for the 2001 Census.
2001 Census Results Teacher’s Kit activities are appropriate
for English, Mathematics, Theatre Arts, Art, Social Sciences, Geography,
History, Family Studies and Informatics. Suggested grade levels are
indicated on each activity and all necessary tables, charts, graphs
and data are included.
