Health Profile – Help with searching
Search
The 'Search' function allows you to type the name of virtually any community in Canada in the 'Search: Place name' box and obtain information on the health region in which it is located.
Place name searching is not case sensitive, meaning that upper case and/or lower case letters can be used. Also, accented characters can be used.
Users can also find an area of interest by browsing through available areas grouped by either province/territory (using the 'Browse: Province/territory' box) or by Health Region Peer Group ( using the 'Browse: Health Region Peer Group' box).
Example
If a search is done by entering 'van' in the 'Search: Place name' box, all place names containing the letters 'van' will be listed regardless of where the string of letters is located in the place name. An example of this is:
