Distribution of after-tax income of census family units for Canada, 2005 and 2010
Description for figure 2
Figure 2 presents distributions of after-tax income of census family units from different data sources for 2005 and 2010. Income distributions for 2005 are based on data from the 2006 Census and the 2005 T1FF. Income distributions for 2010 are based on data from the 2011 NHS and the 2010 T1FF.
There are three series on this graph. The vertical axis is 'percentage.' The vertical axis starts at 0 and ends at 16 with reference lines every 2 points. The horizontal axis is years and income groups. There are two years: 2005 and 2010, and there are 15 income groups for each year.
Series 1 is the 2006 Census estimate.
Series 2 is the 2011 NHS estimate.
They are both represented as vertical bars but in different colours.
Series 3 is the T1FF estimate for both years. It is represented as a dash on the graph.
