In 2011, Lambton Shores (Municipality) had a population of 10,656, representing a percentage change of -4.4% from 2006. This compares to the national average growth of 5.9%.

Land area is 331.08 square kilometres with a population density of 32.2 persons per square kilometre. This compares to the provincial land area of 908,607.67 square kilometres with a population density of 14.1 persons per square kilometre.
