In 2011, La Broquerie (Rural municipality) had a population of 5,198, representing a percentage change of 42.1% from 2006. This compares to the national average growth of 5.9%.

Land area is 578.20 square kilometres with a population density of 9.0 persons per square kilometre. This compares to the provincial land area of 552,329.52 square kilometres with a population density of 2.2 persons per square kilometre.
