In 2011, Blackfalds (Town) had a population of 6,300, representing a percentage change of 36.4% from 2006. This compares to the national average growth of 5.9%.

Land area is 16.36 square kilometres with a population density of 385.0 persons per square kilometre. This compares to the provincial land area of 640,081.87 square kilometres with a population density of 5.7 persons per square kilometre.

In 2011, Blackfalds (Town) had 2,250 private dwellings occupied by usual residents. The change in private dwellings occupied by usual residents from 2006 was 34.5%. For Canada as a whole, the number of private dwellings occupied by usual residents increased 7.1%.

Blackfalds, T – Non-official languages
