In 2011, Vernon (City) had a population of 38,150, representing a percentage change of 6.0% from 2006. This compares to the national average growth of 5.9%.

Land area is 95.76 square kilometres with a population density of 398.4 persons per square kilometre. This compares to the provincial land area of 922,509.29 square kilometres with a population density of 4.8 persons per square kilometre.

Vernon, CY – Non-official languages
