In 2011, Conception Bay South (Town) had a population of 24,848, representing a percentage change of 13.1% from 2006. This compares to the national average growth of 5.9%.

Land area is 59.27 square kilometres with a population density of 419.2 persons per square kilometre. This compares to the provincial land area of 370,510.76 square kilometres with a population density of 1.4 persons per square kilometre.
