In 2011, Saint-Calixte (Municipalité) had a population of 5,934, representing a percentage change of 4.3% from 2006. This compares to the national average growth of 5.9%.

Land area is 143.36 square kilometres with a population density of 41.4 persons per square kilometre. This compares to the provincial land area of 1,356,547.02 square kilometres with a population density of 5.8 persons per square kilometre.

Families and households

In 2011, the number of census families³ in Saint-Calixte was 1,730, which represents a change of 2.4% from 2006. This compares to a growth rate for Canada of 5.5% over the same period.
