In 2011, Joliette (Ville) had a population of 19,621, representing a percentage change of 3.0% from 2006. This compares to the national average growth of 5.9%.

Land area is 22.81 square kilometres with a population density of 860.3 persons per square kilometre. This compares to the provincial land area of 1,356,547.02 square kilometres with a population density of 5.8 persons per square kilometre.

Joliette, V – Non-official languages
