In 2011, Sainte-Julienne (Municipalité) had a population of 9,331, representing a percentage change of 16.9% from 2006. This compares to the national average growth of 5.9%.

Land area is 99.26 square kilometres with a population density of 94.0 persons per square kilometre. This compares to the provincial land area of 1,356,547.02 square kilometres with a population density of 5.8 persons per square kilometre.
