In 2011, Welland (City) had a population of 50,631, representing a percentage change of 0.6% from 2006. This compares to the national average growth of 5.9%.

Land area is 81.09 square kilometres with a population density of 624.4 persons per square kilometre. This compares to the provincial land area of 908,607.67 square kilometres with a population density of 14.1 persons per square kilometre.

Welland, CY – Non-official languages
