In 2011, Zorra (Township) had a population of 8,058, representing a percentage change of -0.8% from 2006. This compares to the national average growth of 5.9%.

Land area is 528.99 square kilometres with a population density of 15.2 persons per square kilometre. This compares to the provincial land area of 908,607.67 square kilometres with a population density of 14.1 persons per square kilometre.
