In 2011, Morden (Town) had a population of 7,812, representing a percentage change of 18.9% from 2006. This compares to the national average growth of 5.9%.

Land area is 16.39 square kilometres with a population density of 476.7 persons per square kilometre. This compares to the provincial land area of 552,329.52 square kilometres with a population density of 2.2 persons per square kilometre.

In 2011, Morden (Town) had 3,171 private dwellings occupied by usual residents. The change in private dwellings occupied by usual residents from 2006 was 17.8%. For Canada as a whole, the number of private dwellings occupied by usual residents increased 7.1%.

Morden, T – Non-official languages

In Morden, the three most common mother tongues were German (20.2%), Russian (2.4%) and Ukrainian (0.5%), in 2011. In comparison, the most common mother tongues at the provincial / territorial level were German (5.8%), Tagalog (Pilipino, Filipino) (3.4%) and Cree, n.o.s. (1.7%).
