• In 2016, the enumerated population of Lunenburg (Municipal district) was 24,863, which represents a change of -1.0% from 2011. This compares to the provincial average of 0.2% and the national average of 5.0%.
• The land area of Lunenburg (Municipal district) is 1,759.59 square kilometres and the population density was 14.1 people per square kilometre.
