Population, 2016 and 2011 censuses

• In 2016, the enumerated population of Alfred and Plantagenet (Township) was 9,680, which represents a change of 5.3% from 2011. This compares to the provincial average of 4.6% and the national average of 5.0%.
• The land area of Alfred and Plantagenet (Township) is 392.31 square kilometres and the population density was 24.7 people per square kilometre.
