• In 2016, the enumerated population of Shuniah (Municipality) was 2,798, which represents a change of 2.2% from 2011. This compares to the provincial average of 4.6% and the national average of 5.0%.
• The land area of Shuniah (Municipality) is 570.99 square kilometres and the population density was 4.9 people per square kilometre.
• In 2016, there were 1,196 private dwellings occupied in Shuniah (Municipality), which represent a change of 2.7% from 2011.
